What a joy to see so many children laughing and playing in Matsunami Park! According to the neighborhood leader, around 800 to 1,000 people showed up to the opening which included a petting zoo, performance by NHK’s Eric Jacobsen, barbeque picnic and lots of fun games! Thank you Playground of Hope for organizing the playground build and opening celebration, and to co-sponsors JP Morgan Bank and Grateful Crane Ensemble. And a special thank you to the countless volunteers who made this playground possible!
