We will have a booth at the Japan Summer Festival in Lexington on Sept. 13th from 11am – 6pm. Items will include ceramics by Ikuhiko Shibata, Gaman Wristbands with Power Charms, Sumo Squeezies (stress balls) and toy sushi sets with chopsticks. Stop by and say hello!

Kids’ Taste a Thon

Our Gaman Wristbands will be given out with any purchase at the Rolling Pen Market Stand at the Loveland Farmers Market Tuesday, July 22nd, from 3-7pm. It’s their Third Annual Kids Taste A Thon!

Ishinomaki Playgound Picnic Celebration at Armco Park

When:

Saturday, August 16 at 12:00pm – 5:00pm

Where:

Armco Park    1223 N State Route 741, Lebanon, Ohio 45036 (See map below)

What:

Anyone who has volunteered or helped support our project and enabled us to build this great playground is invited to join us for a picnic at Armco Park from 12 noon to 5pm. Just let us know if you are coming by Facebook or email (see address below)

We’ll provide the main dish as well as some sides. Please join us and bring your favorite sides or desserts to share with everyone. We’d love to see some Japanese sides. 🙂

We’ll also provide bottled water and soft-drinks. Feel free to bring your own favorite drinks. However, according to state law, we are not allowed to bring alcohol into the park.

We have shelter #9 reserved. There is a volleyball net and playground and lots of green open space in our reserved area.. Also two grills are available and 9 picnic tables. Bring blankets or chairs to sit on too. In other areas of the park, you can play golf, basketball, tennis or go fishing.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP by August 5th. Also, please tell us what you plan to bring, so that everyone can plan accordingly. (If you know of someone who would like to attend but is not on Facebook, please have them email the RSVP to emiko@roadrunner.com).
