Gaman Power Jibbitz

Humbled by their hospitality. Visiting the Yonemoto Family Cemetery

While in Ishinomaki, we visited the Yonemoto family cemetery to pay our respects. We cleaned off the gravestones, put in fresh flowers, and burned incense.Here is a link to some pictures.

PLAYGROUND OPENING CEREMONY!

What a joy to see so many children laughing and playing in Matsunami Park! According to the neighborhood leader, around 800 to 1,000 people showed up to the opening which included a petting zoo, performance by NHK’s Eric Jacobsen, barbeque picnic and lots of fun games!
